Has a year gone by that fast?! This was our Ellie bear not so long ago. I still can't stop chuckling when I look at her baby photos because she looks so much like her Dad, trapped in a miniature body, and wrapped in a blanket. It's both adorable and startling at the same time, haha.

Read MoreWhen I first picked up photography, I secretly hoped that one day I'd be good enough to be hired for a job. It's not because I needed another job but it would mean that my work has a value to others. So it was incredibly sweet and reaffirming when this mom-to-be told me that she cried tears of joy after viewing photos from her maternity session. I know it was a particularly trying time for these parents-to-be because celebrating the arrival of their son would remind them about the loss of his twin brother. Knowing that my photos have touched them is rewarding beyond words.
